Chronology of cameras Schrambach
Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.
This camera is identifiable thanks to the plate which is on the front face. Although the writing is very blurred, one can read there without no hesitation, that it is about a manufacture Louis Schrambach. What is sure it is that the assembly of the lens is not that of origin. The lens is a lens Carl Zeiss Iena Tessar 4,5/6,5 cm.
The preceding owner was useful himself of this room until in the years 1970 making photographs of printed circuits. For that, it had made assemble a lens more powerful than that of origin. The plate that one finds in front of Thornton Pickard shutters also had to be replaced by a metal part reamed for the occasion.
